As a Service Engineer at ART MEDICAL, you are vital to ensuring the operational excellence and reliability of our smART+™ platform within ICU rooms across client facilities. Specializing in technical support, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from installation to ongoing maintenance of all ART MEDICAL products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support, perform installations and corrective maintenance for the smART+™ platform specifically within ICU environments.
- Utilize the company’s proprietary technician software (TechSoft) to deliver efficient remote support for the smART+™ platform products.
- Resolve technical issues efficiently, documenting troubleshooting steps and outcomes in the company database to maintain high accuracy in service records.
- Conduct training sessions for service personnel and distributors, focusing on the technical maintenance and operation of the smART+™ platform to ensure consistent, high-quality support in ICU settings.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive service documentation, including detailed service and installation manuals, to standardize maintenance procedures and ensure clarity and consistency.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or Practical degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the medical device industry or A Biomedical -engineer degree with experience in MDA (Magen David Adom)/ Military paramedic/ Ambulance driver, etc.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical devices and software, particularly in ICU settings.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a strong commitment to achieving shared objectives and delivering excellent outcomes.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
- Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including 24/7 shifts.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to provide onsite support.
- Must be comfortable working in the ICU Hospital’s area.
