Full-stack Developer (Maternity Leave)- Israel

ART MEDICAL is a well-funded medical startup transforming ICU care through advanced technology and innovation. Our smART+™ Platform is an intelligent, sensor-based solution that optimizes nutrition delivery while reducing the risks of ventilator-associated pneumonia and malnutrition. Supported by clinical trials, we are setting a new standard in critical care by achieving nearly 100% feeding efficiency and reducing ICU stays by an average of 3.3 days. 

 We are looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our interdisciplinary group of software, firmware, and hardware engineers.
This is a temporary position for a period of approximately 6-9 months, with an option to extend to permanent employment. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and implement our smART+™ applications, data solutions, and an IoT platform that will be integrated into our smART+™ Platform.
• Collect clinical data pipelines from multiple sources — inside and outside clinical settings — that will provide valuable insights about patients to medical professionals.
• Work collaboratively with our team of developers to design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and best practices to stay at the forefront of mobile application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a full stack developer (backend + android developer) proficient in Python / Java and Kotlin – Must.
• Experience working in a medical technology company and familiar with EU MDR, 510(K), ISO62304 and EHR(HL7, FHIR) – Advantage.
• Proven Experience with micro-services architecture.
• Proven Experience with Spring Boot.
• Deployment and proven Experience with Dockers and K8s- Advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
