Planner Buyer - Israel

We are looking for an experienced Planner Buyer for our growing start-up.

Role & Responsibilities
- Production planning based on forecasts and actual orders (MRP, Work Orders).
- BOM management, material availability, and planning data maintenance.
- Monitoring and controlling production schedules against delivery targets (OTD).
- Demand planning and procurement alignment as part of the S&OP process.
- Inventory management – including safety stock, replenishment, and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Issuing purchase orders – raw materials, assemblies, and technical items.
- Ongoing supplier management – delivery schedules, shortages, and quality issues.
- Identifying and onboarding new suppliers, executing negotiations, and cost reduction.
- Conducting indirect procurement processes as needed.
- Monitoring open orders and prioritizing to meet supply deadlines.
- ERP-based reporting and analysis (PRIORITY).
- Managing air and sea shipments, customs clearance, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Customer-facing logistics: delivery documentation, shipment scheduling, and consignment stock tracking.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Industrial Engineering and Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a planner in a manufacturing company (medical device/high-tech preferred).
- Full command of MRP processes, purchasing operations, supplier management, and S&OP.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (PRIORITY preferred).
- High data orientation, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify risks and propose mitigations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel – mandatory.
- Independent, proactive, and excellent interpersonal skills.
